I was doing a Google search (because I was unrealistically bored) on how to make it as an artist. I came across few articles that said different things. One gave advice that says that being a starving artist is "noble" and that "creativity is free but not the paint brush." It was basically saying that being a good artist means that you must make sacrifices by not thinking of what you think the audience would admire and let out your own creativity. There was another said to think of what the people want and reflect it. Use what you know to keep the audience #1
on your priority list when making your art. It was saying that
was how you make it. I wonder what people do for their art and what is the wisest. I think a good summary for this question is "is it wiser to make art for yourself or others?" I would love to hear peoples views!
